Private Charles S. Cooper, Jr. of Jamestown. The Department of Defense Monday confirmed the death of Private Charles S. Cooper, Jr. of Jamestown. He was 19 years old. Private Cooper was one of two soldiers killed by an improvised bomb that blew up near their patrol in Baghdad last Friday, April 29th.
