Empire Rising

Managed to put down Agatha Raisin long enough to check this out. Great stuff of fiction about 1930 NYC, construction of the ESB, the unions, politicians and assorted movers and shakers of the day. Buffalo only gets one mention as a wrong turn taken by a truck driver but still a good story and much worth your time.
