'bout sums it up
from the Buffalo Report
"The Spectator is still waiting for the mayoral campaign to generate anything in the way of interest but in the meantime, one must marvel at the remarkable consistency of Buffalo voters. It has been almost three decades since the voters elected Jimmy Griffin to four terms as Mayor of Buffalo. Griffin's resume? City Councilman, New York State Senator, Mayor of Buffalo. Sixteen years later, the voters elected Tony Masiello to three terms. Masiello's resume? City Councilman, New York State Senator, Mayor of Buffalo. Twelve years hence, the voters are posied to elect Byron Brown as the next mayor. Brown's resume? you guessed it: City Councilman, New York State Senator.... It was Emerson who said 'a foolish consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds,' but who was it who said the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result?"

That was Einstein. He definitely would not have voted for Brown.
