Fall Brews
Thanks to Jen, I am reminded of yet another pleasure of this fine season...
the many wondrous beer varieties that abound now. The Pumpkin Ales are generally good, robust, tasty alternatives to the year-round stand-bys like Corona or Blue Moon Pale Ale. I found the Saranac Pumpkin to be tasty, though a bit heavy on the cloves. The Blue Moon variety is delicious without being overloaded on spices. I've tried the Sam Adam's Octoberfes
t and while I found it enjoyable, I was a bit disappointed over this years batch. Last year's was better. I will try the Beck's Octoberfest next. Last year's offering I found lacking so maybe this year a difference? So much brew so little time. Stay posted...
